Output of version number

Just did some updating on my machine and I was asked by one vendor of a specific software what version I am using. I went to "help" > "version" and there it was. Heck - this should be in CMSMS as well. A help-menu and an entry with the current version ... sometimes people need it in the forum (like me) and I use a lot of CMSMS installs right now, but with different version numbers. Okay, I could look into the source-code but would be nice to have it in the backend as well since most users are more familiar with help > version instead of crawling the sourcecode.
