Admin Permissions - Not working for SimpleSlider

Hello,
I'm using CMSMS 1.5.1 with SimpleSlider 0.2.1 installed. I have a group set up that has permissions to two areas of the website, Company Directory and Album only. I do not have SimpleSlider checked off as one of the areas the group can manage, but unfortunately it is still showing up when logged in as a user of that group. Can anyone direct me in adjusting the proper code to ensure it doesn't show up unless checked?

Hi Mark,
I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you're asking. I found SimpleSlider from the forge and installed it from the xml file.

Mfal55, you're not the only one experiencing this permissions problem with Simple Slider. Have you made any progress?

Hi Andrew_syd! I'm glad I'm not alone... but no, I have not made any progress on this one. If you are able to find out anything, I would be all ears (er, well, eyes in this case I guess
).

But then again this has nothing to do with the original post
...
But there is a check box in the permissions to let or not let a person/group manage/use the simpleslider admin...

Hi Mark - thanks again for your reply, but I think I might not be making myself clear. The Simple Slider works great... No problem there.
The problem is in regards to the admin side and who has permissions to administer this section. I have a user group named 'Artist' and I do not want this group to be able to administer this section... they should only be able to administer two sections: Company Profile and Album. So under Users & Groups > Group Permissions, I have the areas I want them to administer and I have Simple Slider Admin unchecked. In theory, Simple Slider should not appear for this group when they log into the admin. But it does. This is the problem. So even though I do not have it checked off, it is still showing up for this group in the admin when they log in. I hope that clears it up.
