{Statistics} Problem

CMSMS 1.5.1
Statistics 0.9.0
Hi, don't know if it's just me, but I'm having difficulties understanding why the {Statistics} is giving me a problem when using the W3C HTML Validation.
No matter where I place this 'tag' the validation stops at the point before the {Statistics} tag, and shows nothing further beyond the point at which the 'tag' is placed. I've tried placing it in different areas of my template and page, and still the problem persists.
If I remove the 'tag' completely, W3C HTML Validation is green across the board. Where am I going wrong and how can I resolve this issue?
Any help would be appreciated.
Patrick

A link to the page would be even better, as long as it is the one that gives the error...

I'm sorry every time I check it's not in there... do you not have a test page? A template and page you can make changes to and not worry about people finding.... If not I strongly suggest that... cause if you give us a place to go to view the error, and you don't have the error running we can't do anything...

I guess what I was driving at was that I use this with no issues and always have been able to abtine validation with it.... One thing to remeber about the W3C HTML Validation is that sometimes it tells you that this line is the root when it steam from up above it... Now I realize you said that you take it out and all is good but this is how you start fixing errors... as it could be a prue placement issue... Iie... you need to put all none DOM forming js to the bottom... or you have to remove comments as you closed one incorrectly.... It could be many things....
>>>Both templates are identical right down to the CSS associations...
That you are right

Just playing... So Truns out your with stats page didn't have the satas in it.. if you can get that in there the would be a good start to help...
Hope you day is well...
Cheers
