After installing 1.5.1 on my Linux webserver I only see a blank page

.
After turning debug mode on in the config.php file I can see the site and everything seems working ok

.
After turning debug mode off the home page is blank again.
A complete reinstallation is not working

Did you have any yellow or red flags during install, what server are you using, does it meet the minimum requirements, Error (0): means no error, did you install the default content, can you see/get into the backend/admin?...
Posts with very little info have a tendency to be ignored...

Hi Mark, here is all the info. Sorry for the Dutch, i hope you can read it... and hop you can help me further. Thanx in advance!
there are no red flags
ther are a few exclamation points in yellow (but the whole meets the requirements as far as i can see)
the admin interface is working perfectly
the site is showing perfectly as long as debug mode is on
as soon as i turn debug mode off I see very shortly part of the header and than the page crashes on the index.php file with 'this page cannot be found'

Hello, have you tried the System verification with the checksum ?

Yes, I've upload all files again and again. Als extracted the files directly on the server. Checksum is OK.
Still have a blank page without any errors except for a internet explorer error: page cannot be shown:
http://www.multidiscounter.nl/cms
Admin is working OK and when I turn debug mode on then the site is working normally.
I have checked all settings, reinstalled 5 times now. Searched every topic but found no clue...
Anyone?

hi Mark,
there is nothing more yellow!!
Do you know what is especially turned off while in debug mode?
Maybe when I turn certain functionality off in the code I can get the site to work.

Do you have some pretty URL setting ?
PHP 4.3.2 may be uncomfortable...
Without debug, do you have some http error.log ?
