www.ultimatehuntinggiveaway.com/cms

Post by calguy1000 »

Here's the site I've been doing the code for for the past months, infact it was the reason behind FrontendUsers, SelfRegistration, and an improved CustomContent module

http://www.ultimatehuntinggiveaway.com

This site uses CMS 0.11.2
Modules and tags in use here include:
    FrontEndUsers
    SelfRegistration
    CustomContent
    FeedbackForm
    Breadcrumbs (modified)
    Banners
    Uploads

PHP Applications in use include
    PHPAdsNew
    PHPSurveyor

This site will go live in a few days at which time the /cms will be taken off of the url

Let me know what you think (and yes, I know it uses tables).

Great Site
tell us how to modify the menu and top and bottom headers and template. How to change the complete layout as you have done in your site.

Write some tutorials on it for new CMSMadeSimple users

looks good and its all functioning - you mentioned This should be a good torture test for cmsms  How's it been going?

I notice you don't use the feedback form module - any particular reason?
Or is it just too heavy duty for your needs?

i ask because i have been trying it out and find it very difficult to style the end product & am thinking of just producing a form directly onto the page.

Well, it's still going well, there are over 7000 users registered with the frontendusers module at the moment, and it gets about 100,000 hits per day.  We're using the feedbackform module in the catalog request stuff, and it's working well as well.

Styling the feedbackform is simple, the easiest thing to do is to embed the tag into a and then you can style everything that is inside of that div separately from everything else if necessary.

100.000 hits a day? That's clear evidence CMSMS can handle big sites! :) Good job on this one, it's very pleasurable to browse it. Although for me the website is rather slow, but that's probably cause im from holland.
