CMS Made Simple Forums

I am an administrator/developer on CMS Version 1.2.5, and am trying to program certain fields to calculate.

Here is an example that I found that is very similar to what I am trying to do:

It's impossible to help without knowing what exactly you're trying to achieve.
The only advise I can give is to use Javascript like on the example you gave and to upgrade your CMS Made Simple version.
