Hiding smarty codes in page editor

I'm wondering if there is a way to add a link to a page within your website, without it showing the smarty code?

It would make things easier for clients who have no knowledge of HTML, etc as they see the smarty codes and go  ??? whereas if it just came up as an underlined blue link like it would in HTML it would be easier.

Plus it adds a lot of text to the page and its difficult when you are trying to add links to photos in a gallery, for example.

In your TinyMCE settings, go to the Advanced tab. Unbock "Generate relative urls". This will cause the links created by CMS-linker to be normal -links, instead of the normal smarty version.
