Hey guys,

I am trying to install CMSMS 1.5 on my host, but I keep bumping into this error:

Error: Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client (1251)

My hosting partner said that it could be due to the fact that CMSMS needs MySQL5 while they only have MySQL4.1, but I'm not sure it's that?

Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

I ran 1.2.5 (same adodb_lite of 1.5) VS Mysql 3.X
Now 1.5 work well with 4.1.20

Maybe your hosting partner must update your php or compile your php VS Mysql 4.1.1+ or apply that query

But the weird thing is, I used to be able to install cmsms perfectly. And I think, on another host (from the same hosting partner), I was able to install 1.5 also.. What could this be??

I don't understand, you have installed 1.5 but not working?
