Hi,
I'm a first time user and would like to upgrade to v 1.4.1 from 1.2.3 "Black Rock" but am afraid of losing content on my website.  I would like to pay someone to upgrade for me or show me how to upgrade without losing anything currently on the site.  How much $ to have someone upgrade for me?  Limited on financial resources but hopefully someone can help out.  Thanks ;D

Geronimo,

first 1.4.1 isnt latest anymore, as yesterday 1.5 was released.

When upgrading, you normally back up Files and DB, after which you transfer the new files, over the old install... Then when going in the backend, the upgrade-script will start...

Content is in the database, which isnt touched in the filetransfer....

Thanks for the reply Ronny.  Great so content isn't lost.  What about the modules i currently have installed.  Do you know if some of them become obsolete or if something goes wrong with them.
