[SOLVED] Site layout doesn't fit in well

Hi
I designed a new site. A basic 2 column layout. I used 2 wrappers for the background colors the show.The left bar is a floating element and fix postion for the content.
When I initially designed the page as a html it displays well, after importing it as a template the layout is doesn't fit well.
The left column is larger than set in the style. The content column wraps around the picture at the bottom when the text is longer.
The site is still under development!
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
