Layout messes up sometimes

Hi!
I need some help with my layout..
The layout as it should be is to be found at:
http://www.bugovsky.com/index.php?page=Latein_Herkunft
What sometimes happens is this:
http://www.bugovsky.com/index.php?page= ... bs_in_Wien
Why does this happen? Could somebody please have a look at it?
Note: This only happens with IE. Tried Firefox and it works there. Any clues?

Hmm, I'm seeing the mistake with Firefox 1.5 and IE 6

....
I think, you should try to make your site xhtml valid (CMSms is a xhtml CMS). I've checked it and got 20-40 warnings (=invalid xhtml) on every page. The source code looks ugly like the output of M$ Word / Frontpage

nope, just dreamweaver and myself. no frontpage or the likes allowed. I messed it up all by myself. *grin*
I'll try. Just for the sake of errorfinding: Is the mistake in both examples? And could you please check the original site
http://www.wientanz.com if the errors are there as well? Because I simply adapted the layout from there and I think most errors happened along the way.
Thanks for the help

Found this one in source code of content "Benimmregeln":
This code talks to me - there must be a M$ product in the past

Are you mean the linked pages with "both examples"?
I've looked at many pages on your site - warnings everywhere ...

There are many other errors. But I can't check your original site completely cause the doctype declaration is missed. And you cannot compare your frame based site with a site created by CMSms.
But you can also come to
german forum. Perhaps that's easier for you and me

Yeah, we can do that and we shall... *grin*
Nethertheless, there are just a few answers I'd like to give before starting a new posting in the german forum.
It's possible that I got the original content as a .doc file and then copied&pasted it to Dreamweaver. I usually run a "Clean up Word formatting" filter over any such documents and strip them of any M$-tags, but it seems that some articles got away with it :-I)
Well, maybe it wasn't such a good idea to just try and squeeze the old layout into CMSMS without any further thougt. I was happy that it worked (so far).
Ok, I'll open a new discussion in the german forum some time tomorrow. I hope to squash any bugs...

I think it was a good idea cause you can (easy) learn how cmsms templates and other stuff works
