Hello.

I am wanting to upgrade to resolve a problem.

I don't even know which file to download. There are a bunch listed:

1.4.1   Released On: 2008-08-09 15:03
cmsmadesimple-1.4.1-base-checksum.dat Size: 139612 Downloads: 4490
cmsmadesimple-1.4.1-base.tar.gz Size: 2996707 Downloads: 7682
cmsmadesimple-1.4.1-checksums.dat Size: 2936 Downloads: 900
cmsmadesimple-1.4.1-full-checksum.dat Size: 195495 Downloads: 3435
cmsmadesimple-1.4.1-full.tar.gz Size: 4329467 Downloads: 23712
cmsmadesimple-base-diff-1.4-1.4.1.tar.gz Size: 130315 Downloads: 1207
cmsmadesimple-full-diff-1.4-1.4.1.tar.gz Size: 425941 Downloads: 2216

Which do I need?

Also, should I do any intermediary upgrades? Will it work to go fro 1.0.8 to 1.4.1?

Thanks!

Elissa

In Downloads page:
The CMS Made Simple core is distributed in 2 versions. The base version consists of just the English language files, while the full version has all of the language packs included. If you're upgrading from a version previous to 1.4, then you should download the full package. New installs can just use the base package and download the translations needed.

My advice is jump first in 1.1.X release (pay attention to News templates: read help)
and after to 1.4.1

Thanks! How cool to be getting help from Italy.

I went with 1.1.4.1 and then went to the install/upgrade.php directory and got a blank page. Now when I try to login, it doesn't accept my credentials.

The server error log shows: [Wed Nov 19 16:04:00 2008] [error] PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined function:  restrictunknownparams() in ...l/modules/FormBuilder/FormBuilder.module.php on line 176

I was doing the upgrade because that was recommended to resolve formbuilder installation problem.

Any help much appreciated. Not sure what to do next.

Okay, nevermind last post, standby.... did backup restore from original, then did upgrade without the formbuilder. Now will do other upgrade and see how that goes.
