FeedbackForm trouble

Hi. I'm running CMS Made Simple 0.11.2.
I'm using PHP 4.4.1, and MySQL 4.1.12 running on Windows 2003.

I'm using FeedbackForm version 0.9.10, which depends on CMSMailer. My CMSMailer is version 1.73.8, and it's set to use the "smtp" method.

My problem is that when I submit the Feedback form it displays the "Thanks for Your Feedback!" page but no email comes through.

My CMSMailer Module settings are as follows:
Mailer method:smtp
SMTP host name:mail.mydomain
Port of SMTP server:25
From address:my email address
From Username:Ian
Sendmail location: left blank
SMTP timeout:1000
SMTP Authentication:i checked yes but am not sure if I have to
Username:my email account user name
Password:my email account password

I don't know what I may have done wrong or missed. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi calguy,

Thanks for the suggestion. It didn't work but... uninstalling and reinstalling seems to have done the trick.

Hi I'm having the same issues. I'm using Version 0.11.2, MySQL 4.0.20 and PHP Version 4.3.10

I've downloaded the latest versions of cmsmailer and the feedback form.

Any ideas? I've checked the port and authentication issue with my host and appear to have all info correct.

bit stumped.

I tried the reinstalling the modules too. Anyone shed anylight on this matter???

Please ???

Hi lennon,

One thing that I almost missed when setting mine up was putting my email address into the section: Extensions/FeedbackForm/
Edit the Sample form and change the Feild Named Mailit!, *Email Results to set Address(es) from the default to yours.

Have you done this?

hth,
Ian
