Dear All,

I'm experiencing some problems with FireFox that don't occur when using IE!!
I'm a big fan of FireFox but even with a fresh install these error messages appear...  :'(
I'm using the admin login and the latest and greatest CMS Made Simple 1.4.1 "Spring Garden"
The server is running php in safe mode (can't really be the cause for this can it? if this is the cause, it shouldn't work in IE either...)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) When I click on the blue move down/up arrows or the blue expand/collapse section arrows in the "current pages" page, the following error appears:

Error: the server returned the following HTTP status: 403
Received:

403 Forbidden

Forbidden
You do not have permission to access this document.

Web Server at XXXXXXXXXXXXX

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2) pressing the "apply" button after making changes to the content of any page (submit button does work however...)

Could not save: 403 -- Forbidden
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3) pressing

Manuel

Have you seen CMSms requirements ? You don't match them, your config is not supported.

Are you running IIS ?
You should provide your System Info when submitting a support request.

Dear Pierre,

Thanks for your reply!
I'm running Linux... the error message contains a default text...
The idea behind this extensive text is to pad the error message for non IIS systems

From your reply I understand that you can use firefox to perform the actions as described in my first post?

If you believe running php in safe mode is the cause of the problem, how do you explane php being rendered on the server side but still providing different results for different browsers on the client side??? This sound more like a browser issue to me...

ps: I wenth ahead and checked the demo on opensourcecms.com. they are apparently not running php in safe mode (checked trough "Disable admin safe mode warning") but I can perform all tasks!!

I guess running php in safe mode is the cause after all...  :(

Manuel
