Optimizing for IE7, Firefox, IE on Vista, and Google Browser

Hi All,

I am having difficulty getting the correct display of my menu bar for IE7, Firefox, IE on Vista and Google Browser. The menu bar looks perfect in IE7 and Firefox, but is slightly raised up with a gap when viewed in IE on Vista and in a Google Browser. The gap is greatest with Vista.

I have no idea how to set the code in my template so that this issue is resolved. I think this is the appropriate forum, since my guess is that all developers are now going to have to write for FOUR major browsers or more these days... However, if wrong forum, my apologies.

My website, so you can see what is wrong is http://www.tech-challenged.com

Thanks in advance for your help on this.

I guess this belongs to the layout section.
I'm sorry but i don't have Vista or GoogleBrowser (don't like them).
What Browser are you using on Vista?

Last page i created was tested (and valid  :D ) in 12 browsers...
But i don't develop for browsers that are still non proper working beta versions.
So i don't worry about Google Chrome or IE8.
(I worry more about IE6 because it won't disappear...)

If your page does look fine in FF (and is valid) most other browsers (Opera, Safari ...) also won't have problems.
Use conditional comments to link a separated stylesheet to the IE browsers.

Thanks for your response. I will try the layout section with the question then... by the way,
I was told IE7 in Vista - I was sent a screenshot.
