News Breadcrumbs & style

hi,
I am using the news module for a lot of content on my site to limit users being able to add to the menus. I have some issues :
- when you click on a News page there are no breadcrumbs, its as if the news is not a proper page
- the news pages are formatted differently from other normal pages on my site
