Hi,
I'm a first time user and would like to upgrade to v 1.4.1 from 1.2.3 "Black Rock" but am quite apprehensive of losing content on my website.  Exactly which of these would I be installing? I've done a backup already and am attempting to find the clear cache part of the site (you can tell i'm a newbie)  Anyhow, any advice?  By the way is there a way to pay someone to just upgrade it for me just in case i don't have the nerve to do it???

Welcome to CMSMS forum!

Here you will find all the info you need about upgrading.
http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... /Upgrading

Differens between 1.4.1-base.tar.gz and 1.4.1-full.tar.gz is that the full version have all availble languages in it.
If you don't need all langs then choose 1.4.1-base.tar.gz .

If you want someone todo the upgrade for money just post in Help Wanted (commercial).

Good luck!
