IE issue with CMS Made Simple 1.4.1 "Spring Garden"

In 1.4.1 "Spring Garden", I am having a problem using the Admin interface with IE (v6 and v7). If I edit an existing page using IE, I can click the Submit button and I get the "Update successful" message, but the page never actually updates, and if I re-edit (or browse the site) the change is not there.
Everything works in Firefox (which is how I built the site), and in Google's Chrome, so it was not until I turned the project over to my client that we noticed.
You can browse the site just fine using IE, but you cannot successfully "Submit" or "Apply" from the admin menu, even though it says you were successful.
My fix was to tell the client to use Firefox but I thought you should know.
