install was successful according to wizard, but..

When the install is complete, instead of my new site... i get this message Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /var/www/publish4/cms/lib/content.functions.php on line 983
Well no one died, but my site is waiting to be born. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance,
