website/cmsmadesimple/admin having garbled code at the top

Hey there. I am an idiot. I can't figure out how to find out what version of cmsmadesimple I'm using, nor do I know basically anything about any other versions (phP? Huh?), etc.
I installed and started work on a website about 6 months to a year ago using cmsmadesimple. I stopped work on the site several months ago, and returned to it today. However when I went to my admin page the top of the page had all this on it (and it is on every other page as well):

What should I do about this?
