Hi All,

I have a CMSMS site with French and English.

Presently, when I click the language switcher, it simply reloads the current page in the chosen language, but I would like it to always redirect to the site's home page instead of the currently active page.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

This is my first post here, and I searched for an answer first. Hopefully this is the right section.

You don't say what is your multilang system, MLE or language trees?

I'm actually not even sure which type it is. I took over the project midway.

Anyhow, I solved the problem by simply removing the {lang} element from a Global Content Block and replaced it with hard coded values for English and French with href directing back to the home page with the applicable language modifier.

Why you want jump to home and not reload page in other language?
