Page Cache Issue

I have been having page Cache issues with a cmsms site.

When making some changes the page cache seems to get stuck. The admin side and the database show the right content, but a browser going to the page does not. Neither clicking clear cache or deleting all files in the tmp and cache directory make any difference. I've also tried clearing the browser cache.

This has happened with page content as well as template and menumanager changes.

I just upgraded to 1.4.1 but it didn't fix the issue.

Any suggestions?

Well I have learned a bit more. The admin was not actually deleting all of the files in templates_c, even though it told me the cache was cleared. I deleted these files and the changes are now visible!

However, what is to prevent this from happening again?

Hello,

what about monitoring your http logS while clicking on "clear cache" in the admin and provide us more informations about the hosting context (sysinfo...) ?

bonjour,
merci
cdlt.

a) English only in the boards that are not set aside for other languages.
b) We don't support more than one previous version of CMS.  So please upgrade to CMS 1.5.1 and then follow the rules about posting with sufficient information.
