I have used the htaccess file in wiki, and have the following problem when accessing the subpages: preg_match() [function.preg-match]: Unknown modifier '\' in /users/web/sriukay/web/index.php on line 129, is displayed on the top of the web page. Otherwise the page is displayed correctly.

I am using version 1.4.1 running on php 4 on shared hosting.

For the record, pretty URL instructions are found here :

and not in the FAQ with confusing trailing slashes.
