Hi there,

I've done a website in CMSMS and it works brilliantly, kudos to everyone involved in its development.

The client now wants to add an online shop....    do we have anything within the modules that can do this?

The problem for me is that they already have a real physical shop with a commerce system with the details stored in an SQL database....  the problem is the online shop and the real shop have to be working off the same database, so an online transaction deducts one piece of stock from the same database.

There is a budget for this to be developed, if anyone would like to quote?

I'm currently using the Shop Made Simple module to add a very basic shop to an exsiting site and so far it's going well, but taking quite a bit of tweaking to meet my needs.  I don't know if you can use the same SQL database as another site but I'm sure somebody else will be able to answer that

I'm about to start work on Shop Made Simle, grab my email address from the profile, we can talk about the requirements (with regards the job)

For any requirements it is better to post them to the project of Shop Made Simple in stead of to one person. In that way multiple people see what is wanted and multiple developers can see if there is anything that can be picket up to do. Next to this it would be possible filter requirements that are not generic enough.

The requirements that I am speaking of are with regards the custom job that optimalwebsite noted he would be interested in developing
