CMS for Clueless Professors

Hi, I setup a website for my university department using Joomla. Although it's easier in my mind to upkeep than their old html pages, I think it will require too much time to teach them how to use it before I graduate. Do you think that CMSMS would be a better choice? Or should I tell them to revert back to simple html pages?

Personally, I think CMSMS is far simpler and more user friendly than Joomla. Once you grasp the concept of separating style from substance, using templates, stylesheets and content blocks, it is very easy to use.

Also, the user/developer community here is very supportive, friendly and helpful.

Why not give it a try using the following:
opensource.com

Select the admin part. It could be that the language has been set to something less readable. Select the right most tab and then 2nd down to set the user preferences. You will locate the language settings somewhere in the middle. Use the submit button on the bottom at the left side.
The default is installed there, quite some modules are available to be added.
