I can not associate any css file to a template that I uploaded. It shows that it's associate but nothing happens.

If I copy the css file to the root of the cms directory, it works... it uses the css file.

what im I doing wrong? permission issues?

You will have to give a little more info as to how you are doing it and how you got the new template from where...
