TinyMCE 2.4.0: Missing toolbars, any ideas?

Hi All,

Using:
CMSMS 1.3 "Cuba"
TinyMCE 2.4.0

Problem is when using:
Firefox 3.01

All ok using IE7 (PC) and Safari (PC) and Firefox 2.0.0.16 (PC)

Any reason for this? All my settings look correct so I guess it must be something to do with FF3 then?

Anyway, any help, ideas would be gratefully received.

Sarah

I can't get the toolbars to show in IE7 either.

I have now realised that it only on the latest CMSMS site I am developing that the toolbars don't show!! For all my other sites, everything is fine.

I have just deleted Tiny & reinstalled it-version 2.4.2

I have also just checked the site using Opera, and the toolbars still don't appear. This makes 3 browsers on which the tools don't appear.

For every other CMSMS site I run the tools are there BUT not this new one I am developing.

I can't think what else I can do.

FTP to site and remove all files NOT folders in tmp, then in template_c remove all files, then go to site admin > global settings and clear cache...

Might want to make sure Firefox is set to allow JS at least on your site as tiny is run thru JS...

Thanks Mark

I have followed all your suggestions BUT still no toolbars.

I have also installed and tried to use FCKEditor-x but, again, no toolbars.

I am using CMSMS version 1.3 Cuba.

SOLVED!!

I remembered a similar problem a few months ago, and I had to change the permissions on the Modules folder to 755.

Posting http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,20811.msg101913.html#msg101913

Works like a dream.

Many thanks

Martin
