Because of the new distribution mechanism coming with 1.4 (multiple files), I'm looking for somebody or some group that can write a professional looking, reasonably easy to understand installation guide for CMS Made Simple 1.4+

I would like the installation guide to be available in:
a) Open Office document format (for revisions)
b) PDF format (we can export from Open Office format to pdf quite easily)
b) wiki format (there should be a link to the PDF version here)
c) text format (though this can be a simple link to the wiki version).

The document should be aimed at the web development professional, but not necessarily leave the web noob out of things, and it should be comprehensive enough to walk the user through the installation process, but does not need to instruct the user on how to use an ftp client, or other site specific things like how to create a database etc.  The document can include screenshots of the installation process, explain the various items in each screen, and indicate any complex areas that users should watch out for.

I'd like to get the first version done by the end of this month if possible.

am working on a version for some colleague of mine... It has  jpg's in odt (open office format)
but at this moment i'm busy with php and webdesign... so it wil be a long story.. lol

If i will finish it , are you still interested?....

Great idea, calguy1000.  I couldn't agree more.

Personally, I believe the current documentation just needs some editing and reorganization.  Particularly, I would suggest the redo of the table of contents and some more details in the instructions.
