Calendar Module

Hi All...
Been using the Calendar module to great effect, but just noticed an issue with a particular event that rolls over into the next year. Event goes from 20th December to the 9th of January. The event shows in the list but not on the Calendar grid?
Any suggestions?
I also want give users the feature of viewing a page with all past events, is this easily done?
