I've just installed 'Tobago' and am unable to create news articles, categories, etc.

When I go to the news module (version 2.0), the generated page visually stops after the 'news' menu items.

Looking at the generated source, it ends at:




i.e. no closing HTML

Any thoughts?

You find a solution? I have now the same problem.

No, I gave up and went to another CMS 

Which php version you are using ?

I've seen the problem with uncompleted code some month again with FeebackForm module on a local server. The dev adviced me to change php to version 4.4.x (4.3.1 before) - it works.

So my problem must be the same as I got this after uninstalling and re-installing the news module.

I had no trouble with the installation. Which permissions must be correct?

There is no "upgrade". The permissions in the group are correct. I find only one permission: Modify News

My webserver runs under PHP Version 4.2.2

I'm not a real coder. I can only refer my experiences.

Inside the new beta I found a new release of news module. As I see there are many changes in code. Perhaps this version works better on your server  ...

I tried the beta version, but the same problems in the newsmodul.

do a "view source" of the news admin page, and look for the word Error
and copy and paste the complete detaila out of this.  It looks like there's a php error in there somewhere.
