Grass stains theme and sub-menu rollovers [solved]

Hi. I am  running CMS Made Simple 1.2.4 , mySQL version 4.1.22 and php 4.4.5.
This is all working with Apache version  1.3.37 (Unix)

My question is about the 'grass stains' theme. I have installed it and it is working, but the CSS breaks on the submenus. Here is an example via a link (click on 'paintings'  on the horizontal menu to see it):

http://janeyhagger.johnkerrassociates.c ... landscapes

The text is not lining up properly with the drop-down menu, though it is lining up when you roll over.

I am using firefox 2.0.0.11 with Mac OS 10.3.9. The only other browser I can test on is Safari, where the menu goes even more haywire, but I accept that I have an older computer than most people these days, so i'll concentrate on the firefox for now.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

addendum: I have found another site with the same problem:

Roll over the menu items to see submenus. Is this problem  only on the Mac? Does it all look fine on a PC? Sorry I'm working at home and have no PC access these days.

Thank you for such a quick reply. The green roll overs also work then? The line up looks fine on the picture you posted, and it does not line up on the Mac, so I'll assume it all works on the PC. I haven't done anything to alter from the menu on the original grass stains CSS.

Hi - just in case anyone else is looking at this - I fixed the problem in OSX Firefox by increasing the font size + 1 while viewing - apple key and plus sign. Now the rollover lines up perfectly.

I'm just glad I wrote in and researched this BEFORE trying to change the CSS.

Can I also add that I'm really loving cmsms? I only do the odd website part time, i'm not a fulltime geek, and I find this so easy to use. A friend helped me install it and - so far! - i haven't needed to employ a programmer. I used to work for a company that used Drupal, and while Drupal might suit huge, complex sites, you have to have a full-time programmer on hand for it.

thanks
