Hi there,

I'm trying to install cmsms again on my webserver. I allready got one installed, but that one is all messed up so i'd like to make a new one thats better organized.

So i'm trying to install the new cms, and changed the correct folders to chmod 777, but the installation php keeps on saying the write permission on TMP_CACHE_LOCATION, TMP_TEMPLATES_C_LOCATION and the CONFIG_FILE_LOCATION are still not writeable. Can anyone please help me or is it impossible to install 2 cmsms's at the same server?

Thanks in advance, Rapp.

I've put quite a few in the same folder/root w/o a problem...

Is this your own server or a host? what FTP client? have you tried 775?...

More info please, lack there of is asking to be ignored some times...

Sorry, more information:

It's not my own server, but one that I rent I think. Sorry i'm not that big of a wizzkid. Its one at www.hosting2go.nl
But like i said, there is already one cmsms installed on it and that one works fine.

As FTP Clients I used FlashFXP and FileZilla, and i also tried 775 but that doesnt change anything.

Thanks for your reply.

Ok so it's hosted, and you FTPed the files up and changed the permissions and it looked like they worked but the install says no, I don't know FlashFXP but in FileZilla you can change the bar to tell you who owns the files, it may be the way it was sent it's now owned by the server, you may have to go server side to change the permissions...

Hey Mark,

Thanks a lot, it works fine now. Changed some things in FileZilla with owner permissions and now it works fine.

Thanks again!

Cheers, Rapp.
