my content repeats itself

I typed a line of text on a page, and that line is repeating itself and cannot be erased. It is the last thing in a paragraph consisting only of three thumbnail images with links followed by a linebreeak--in other words, the text was suposed to serve as a caption for the linked images. (at pcifchurches.org)

I tried to fix this in the html editor of tiny MCE. But there's a lot of weird stuff in there with the links, like extra slashes in the closing tags. And when I did make a change to the html, that change was not refelcted either in the WYSIWYG area of tiny MCE nor in the finished page.

next i tried putting the images in a table and got the same problem.

Is there a way to take control of the HTML and to avoid this in the future?

Thanks

Hi Patricia,

I just got 0.10.4 last week.

So far I have worked only with tiny MCE and it's little HTML viewer, I have not yet come across the other option you mentioned.  Am I supposed to be able to edit html from within MCE?

me again.

I turned off MCE and was able to make the fixes in the HTML environment.  I believe the problem was related to the fact that I used MCE to edit the name of an image--the image and its link appeared twice in the code, and the other images' codes were tangled up with it.

so moral of story is don't try to edit html from the button provided by MCE?
