I have found a patch for the banners module that allows .swf files to be used.
The file is a .diff file.
Does any body know how to install this patch.

I am a newbie so any help would be greatful.

I found it in the CMSMS modules section.

In the attachment you can found the modified action.default.php from Banners. You have only to rename it.

But be warned - have not tried it.
