FormBuilder - form results not passed to email

Hi,

So far so good with CMS 1.3; however, using FormBuilder 0.5.3 I took the original email form and renamed it "Get A Quote" found at: http://www.qsitedesigns.com/index.php?p ... uote.  The results of this form are sent to me via email and all it well, but when I copied this form exactly, but with the name "Contact Us" the details entered into the form at: http://www.qsitedesigns.com/index.php?page=contact-us do not get passed to the email and the data entered into the form comes through blank.

Any ideas?  I've checked, double checked, and triple checked the forms and they are identical with exception to the form name and alias.

Thanks in advance,

Rich

Not sure if this will fix it or not but try checking the SUBMISSION TEMPLATE (or the e-mail layout template of the message). What you might want to check is the layout of the e-mail template. There is also a button that will automatically create all fields present in your specific form.

Here is how you can try and see if it works:

1. Login to admin
2. Click FormBuilder
3. Click the form you want to fix
4. click on the last tab "Submission Template"
5. Look inside the e-mail body and if you want - click the "Create Sample HTML Template" on the right.

That should at least show you where this section of the module is.

Good luck

I have a simmilar problem as Richbot: an uploaded form worked fine, untill I changed the name of a field: that field was no longer
displayed in the sent e-mail, nor on the submission page.

Jack's solution works for me, but I lost the original layout of the submission template when I saved the generated HTML. So, if you try clicking the "Create Sample HTML Template", be sure to copy the newly created template and don't save, but paste it in your text editor for reference!

After trying Jack's solution in the submission page all data are shown, but the sent e-mail is still empty (and has the original layout).
Is there an adminscreen to modify the sent email template? I can't find it...

The template for sent to you emails is in the next tab when you make the email/s it's sent to, there you will find the same thing as in the other template pages as in hit the create button or you can use the fields shown in the right side to create your own template...
