If you're having a hard time finding what you're looking for using the forum's integrated search; try a site-specific search via Google. Simply append:
site:forum.cmsmadesimple.org
to the end of your query string. Example:
news multiple categories site:forum.cmsmadesimple.org
And you'll get your search results restricted to forum.cmsmadesimple; but with all the Google goodness.
If you want to add a search like this right into your Firefox, save the attached cmsmsforumsearch.xml file (just the xml, the gif is only to show you how it looks in Firefox), and drop it in to Firefox's "searchEngines" (or "searchplugins") directory (restart Firefox for it to appear in the search box options). If you don't know where that is, try looking in your Firefox profile directory.
If you'd rather it search the whole of cmsmadesimple.org (including wiki, forge, etc), use cmsmssitesearch.xml instead.
