I wasn't quite sure where to put this since it is a module that already comes pre-installed, but i have a small dilemma.

I would like to some how space out the the menu items that are listed horizontally, as can be seen here
I have tried myself but i can't seem to get it, i pretty much put them every way but the way i want them.

so here is my menu manager layout

Code: Select all

{* CSS classes used in this template:
#menuwrapper - The id for the <div> that the menu is wrapped in. Sets the width, background etc. for the menu.
#primary-nav - The id for the <ul>
.menuparent - The class for each <li> that has children.
.menuactive - The class for each <li> that is active or is a parent (on any level) of a child that is active. *}
{if $count > 0}
<div id="menuwrapper">
<ul id="primary-nav">
{foreach from=$nodelist item=node}
{if $node->depth > $node->prevdepth}

	{repeat string="<ul>" times=$node->depth-$node->prevdepth}
{elseif $node->depth < $node->prevdepth}

	{repeat string="</li></ul>" times=$node->prevdepth-$node->depth}
	</li>
{elseif $node->index > 0}</li>
{/if}
{if $node->parent == true or ($node->current == true and $node->haschildren == true)}
	<li class="menuactive menuparent"><a class="menuactive menuparent" {elseif $node->current == true}
	<li class="menuactive"><a class="menuactive" {elseif $node->haschildren == true}
	<li class="menuparent"><a class="menuparent" {else}
	<li><a {/if}
href="{$node->url}">{$node->menutext}</a>{/foreach}

	{repeat string="</li></ul>" times=$node->depth-1}		</li>
	</ul>
</div>
{/if}
I have it backed it up so any idea is worth trying, thx in advanced.

come on

READ THE FORUM and put some contextual information in there so we can actually know what the problem is.

If I understand your question correctly, this is a stylesheet issue. Play around with:

#primary-nav li {
margin-left: -1px;
float: left;
        margin: 0 30px;
}

thank you Nullig, you were right, it was in the stylesheet.

And thank you calguy1000 for showing me nothing but disrespect and shooting your mouth off on almost every question i've asked.

You didn't read the rules, or post contextual information.  i.e:

1) Which menu manager template are you using
2) How are you calling  the menu manager?
3) which version of CMS
4) what have you tried?

AND

You forced people to visit your link, view your source, view your stylesheet information and spend their time trying to guess what you want.  That's not fair or proper when you're not prepared to do your groundwork first.

AND THEN

you get irritated when I try to remind you of the rules.

From now on, I'll just delete them.
