Slow loading site... [SOLVED]

Hello All,
I am using CMSMS 1.2.2. Everything seems to work fine except for the speed.
http://ummacenters.org/CMS/
I have already read many past posts on this issue but none seem to offer the solution.
So far, I have already tried deleting unused tags, modules and extensions. My host is not the problem either because my others sites based on OScommerce and ShopScript seems to run fine.
any ideas?
thanks for your help in advanced.

a) you have not followed the forum rules when posting, so this post should be deleted
b) this site doesn't seem slow to me.... generated in 0.5 seconds using 27 queries.
Before you respond to this forum, read the forum rules and follow the instructions clearly.

Thanks for the quick reply and I apologize for not following forum guidelines. I have modified my post to include more information.
How are you guys determining the load time and # of queries?

If you look at the Page Source code on the rendered page, you'll see the comments at the bottom.
I suggest you update to 1.2.5 ASAP, as many sites have been hacked with the version you're running.

I removed the install directory few seconds before starting this tread. The site appears to load quick now. Could that have been the problem?

Don't think having the install dir would have made much of a difference. Slow sites are usually the result of a slow MySQL server, especially if you have a lot of additional modules.

That is bizarre. It seems to have fixed itself. I get mostly under a second load time. and 2 to 3 on some occasions. I think its good now. Feel like such a dumb ass.
Thanks for your help. I will upgrade ASAP.

if you experience performance issues with cmsms or any other php/mysql type application, either all the time, or just periodically, it's probably your host, 1and1 and their tendency to overload shared servers to compensate for their low prices on big plans.
if you complain to them and they don't do anything (like moving some accounts off your server, or move you to one that's not as loaded-down), there isn't much you can do short of switching hosts to one that doesn't cram so many accounts and sites on to a single server.

Sorry but 1&1 SUCK...
I started with them and it was fast then it kept getting slower and slower and they were no help at all just kept trying to upsell me on a private server...
