Self registration integration with front end users

Hi
I have a login box working in the right hand column of my 3 column layout (cmsms 1.2.4). I also have the self-registration module installed.
I have two related questions:
1. What is the easiest way of integrating a link to the self-registration form as part of the login box / forgotten password combination instead of as a separate entity?
2. How do I change the style of the sellf registration form?
