What version are you using? This bug was fixed long ago.

Hi wishy,
i don't know if this is a bug.
I downloaded the package a few days ago and tried it on my localhost (windows2000) and created a user name 'test' that have the permissions to 'add Content' and to 'modify each content'.
Next, i logged in with this user and nothing of the permissions worked, i had even changed the permissions of the 'admin' user.
Any idea ?!
Thanks
Hartmut

You do mean that you made a group called test, added the permissions to that group, then added a test user and assigned them to test group?
You can't just change permissions on a user.

Yes, this is the story !
What do you mean with 'you can't just change permissions on a user' ?!
If i log in with this 'test' user, of group 'test' with the permission to just 'add content', no restriction are present to this user !

Double check that the "test" user isn't a member of the "admin" group.

Hi Rob,
that was the key, 'test' was also member of the 'admin' group.
