Locally hosted to server hosting

Hi

I've been building a website locally, loving CMSMS, really great piece of software.

I just need to know if there is a guide to getting my site online. I'd ideally just like to upload all my files and add my database. Obviously though the settings for the database are going to be different, where can I go to change these as I can see anywhere in the admin panel to do this?

Also when it goes online I need to install into a temp folder until all content is updated by various contributors. Then we'll take down the existing site and replace with the CMSMS one. Will moving folders cause any problems?

Thanks very much for your advice.

Mark

No admin panel but config.php

Again, config.php always (in this case you don't necessity to export/import db on this host)

Thanks Alby

I've had a look at the config.php, that's exactly what I was looking for. Never thought to just look at the PHP!

Appreciate the help, this is now solved.

Now you know there is a guide. A guide you could have found without support.
Have fun reading guides and enjoy CMSms !
