Hi guys.
I have one site out there which I didn't upgrade for ages - running CMSMS v1.0.4.
How should I upgrade it - by
using diffs one by one,
or using just
newest release at once?

What I want, is to have as little problems and downtime on site as possible.
Thanks !
E.

After having backed up your site and db, you could overwrite the domain with the full package.....
Loggin in the backend will start the upgrade process...
News templates are db-driven nowadays, so you should store them to be able to re-use them afterwards.

But isn't there some problem of module API change around 1.1 ? Should the upgrade be 1.0.x -> 1.1 -> 1.2.4 ?

Hey Guys,
I am in a similar predicament with upgrading v1.1 to the latest.
I have read some forum posts which say it is fine to upgrade straight from 1.1 to 1.24 so i go ahead with the instructions found here (
http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... /Upgrading). There is one critical line which reads "Navigate, in your browser, to
www.domain.com/install/upgrade.php" but when i go to this file it does not exist in my cms or in the upgrade files.
Can anyone help me understand how to upgrade 1.1 the latest or do i have to go through each version till i get to the latest?
Thanks

Hey Guys,
FYI, i removed the install directory upon success when i first installed cmsms as per the documentation (
http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php ... ck_Install) so this could be an issue.
