Coffee Book eCommerce Site

Recently finished the espressoquest.com site. Highly visual and tightly targeted towards advertising and providing a facility to purchase 'The Espresso Quest', written by one of the coffee worlds most famous celebrity, Instaurator.

Users have the option of buying a hard-cover book or an eBook.

Multiple currencies and shipping destinations are supported, and ajax has been used throughout to ease the pain of using a shopping cart system. The checkout has been streamlined and takes place on only 2 pages.

I built a download tracking and limiting system for the ebook delivery, so users are only allowed to attempt to download the ebook 5 times in 3 days - these limits can be modified by the customer in future.

Also features a blog and general other pages. I am very happy with the design of the site and I believe it is one of the easiest checkout processes to go through.

All checkout and store areas were custom-built as a new module.

Very, very nicely made.
Easy on the eye. Clear. Smooth transisitions are done nicely on the amount to pay when another currency is selected. On the payment page, if selecting another currency, the line below keeps on stating that the payment will be handled in Australian dollars. I found that a bit confusing.

Were you planning on releasing the store module?

Nice implementation. I'm also interested in the ecomm functionality - is this 'plugin' available or did you code it from scratch please.

Sponna,

Are you aware that there are now two e-commerce solutions available as a module:
Products (together with a number of connected modules) and Shop Made Simple (together with Cart Made Simple)?

Yeah but what is interesting about this site is that the checkout process remains on site. Can this be done with any of the current shopping modules?

I would like to know what you used for the newsletter. It seems you are using a different one from the NMS module..?

Stunning site. I love the cute little coffee stain there on the side. I think it keeps the site from being too serious.  Great design work.

I'm also curious as to what you are using for the newsletter signup.
