First Problem:
please visit http://www.cosp.org.pk
Place your cursor over the top green banner and you will see some stupid tooltip like "Home Page, shorcut key=1"

When i opened the source code of the rendered HTML page, i saw something like:

Code: Select all

<!-- This is how all the stylesheets attached to this template are linked to -->
<link rel="start" title="Home Page, shortcut key=1" href="http://www.cosp.org.pk/" />
Complete HTML Source Code is:

So how to remove that stupid tooltip?

Second Problem/Question:
Please visit: http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/
I wanna know by what module all that project management is done, and if there is a module, please provide a download link.
Else i will request the developers to wrap it up as a module and distribute it as i need a similar module for: http://www.cosp.org.pk/index.php/os-projects

Thank you soo much for reading the post...

Place your cursor over the top green banner and you will see some stupid tooltip like "Home Page, shorcut key=1"
Just  add a "title" parameter to your selflink tag:

{cms_selflink dir="start" text="$sitename" title="Your text for tooltip"}

If you don't want any title use title=""

blast

In your template change:

Code: Select all

   <!-- Start Header, with logo image that links to the default start page. Logo image is changed in the stylesheet  "For template: Left menu + 1 column" -->
   <div id="header">
           <h1><a href="http://www.cosp.org.pk/" title="Home Page, shortcut key=1">Community for Open Source Promotion</a></h1>
   <hr class="accessibility" />
   </div>
   <!-- End Header -->
to:

Code: Select all

   <!-- Start Header, with logo image that links to the default start page. Logo image is changed in the stylesheet  "For template: Left menu + 1 column" -->
   <div id="header">

Thanks Nullig, but here is a problem. Now the top banner is a bit down and there is an empty space above it, which wasn't there before

[EDIT]
Figured that out by combing your and blast's answer.
Thanks you soo much...

and what about the second one?

Here is a third one as well....

I had CMSMS 1.2.3 and Uploads module and everything was working fine. Now i upgraded to 1.2.4. This time whenever i try to upload some file like say a file with 2MB size using Uploads Module, i get the error that i don't have permission on the directory. while directory is chmoded to 777 and PHP and Upload file size limit is 5MB.

PS:
If i try to upload small files like a 2K, 30K picture, they go smoothly... even upto 600K pdf..

Look in the options tab when editing the page...

as far as what 'module' that is used for project management, it's gforge... we didn't write it.

re your third problem" check your config.php

hmmm,. Okay. thanks....

Well i couldnt get the third right even now.
Config.php:
size limit: 5MB [5242880 bytes]
php memory limit: 32M

System PHP Config :
size limit: 5MB
Memory Limit : 32MB

Content > Uploads > Preferances:
Size Limit =5 MB [5120KB]

Why does it says permissions error when i upload even a 1MB+ file. All files below 1MB are working fine...

There must be a limit elsewhere (webserver ? hosting provider ?). And an appropriate support forum too.

Your Last Post:

My Answer:

There isnt a limit of php, webhost, or the uploads Module. As i pasted all the configuration and all of them allow atleast 5MB size. So to crosscheck my statement, i did another cms install, on the same host, on a subdomain, installed uploads module again, changed uploads configuration as i had in the actual, and tried to upload files of greater size, say 2.6Mb and it worked...
Why doesnt it work on a current install?
and why on new install?
Webhost is same, configuration is same, i even populated mod_uploads tables with data from the new test site, but still it doesnt let me upload larger files..

I think in the config.php file, the line should be written like:

$config['max_upload_size'] = 5000000;
