Hi
I am using the news module  with the browsable Category List ( Parameter browscat=1).
Does anyone know who this list could be modified to show the date of the latest news item posted under each category.
This would be very usefull to help users decide if they want to drill down on a particular category to view the news items

A browsable News module looks like
Category1 (3)
Category2 (2)
Category3 (6)

I would like it to look like

Category1(3) -  Most recent post 08 Mar
Category2(3) -  Most recent post 04 Apr
Category3(6) -  Most recent post 07 Apr


I think the place to make the change is in the Browse Category Template, but I dont know how to modify this

I believe that this would require a rewrite of the action.browsecat.php itself, not just a template change.
