CMS Made Simple Forums

Hi

Not sure this is in the right forum but didn't know where to put it - so apologies if it's in the wrong place.

I'm currently designing a site for a client and am considering using CMS made simple, we are considering a portal type design for the home page with short descriptions and links through to articles they have written - a bit like a news site. Can you manage which stories/articles appear on the home page using CMS made simple? EG if they write a new article they want it to appear on the homepage with a short description maybe an image and a link to the full story.

Also there's to be a portfolio page where I want multiple images to appear in one space - like a slideshow so you click next to flick through the images for a particular project without loading another page - is it possible to manage this with CMS made simple as well?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

See by yourself if the product fits your needs : try CMSms core (pages, hierarchy), News module (articles) and Album (or other galery/image/catalog module).
