Need Advice about gallery usage.

I just need some advice all opinions welcomed. Thanks in advance.
I would like to have a "sales page" where I list couple of items for sale...no checkout needed. Need this easily edited with:
image, description, in stock, quantity.
Options:
- Basic css template with the layout and just edited it like any other content on the site. (might be hard to edit)
- Cataloger module.
Any advice on what others have tried in the past or any recommendation? Any other modules aside from cataloger module?
