How to bulid portal news ?

I think the default module News is capable of that, just the "Most Popular" feature would need a hack like this:

[edit] Just noticed the "all news from the past 24hrs" feature. I'm not sure about that... I know you can set expiration of news and such, but "published 1 hour ago"... this requires a hack, IMO.

I am looking to do something similar with my news module. I am fairly new to the CMSms group, so maybe I missed something, but I cannot, for the life of me find a simple explanation on how to get an RSS feed from Entrepreneur.com to display in my news module. Am I missing another module to add to the news. Am I not formatting the news module correct? Could someone just give me an easy to follow step by step.....there does not seem to be one available. If there is an easy step by step...could someone provide the link?
