Trying to Decide on CMS made simple

I am working on a project for a site that is going to be used as an online gallery. I installed a demo of CMS made simple and found that the gallery module was buggy and not easy to use.  Does anyone have some advice on whether or not CMSMS is the best tool for this type of project? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

On past projects where a gallery was the main focus of the site, I've used CMSMS as a "front end" and either Gallery2 or Coppermine for the gallery, depending on the features requested by the client.

I am looking for more of a catalog gallery functionality... is Gallery2 good for this as well?

RMCDonald -

Take a look at my site:  http://www.vaughnsphotoart.com/

I used CMS Made Simple plus the Cataloger module, and I found it to be perfect for my needs.

I wrote a tutorial on how I did the Paypal + Cataloger bit, if your interests lay in those directions, available here:
