using FormBuilder to make a "tell a friend about this site" page - does it work?

Hi, I would like to have a page that allows people to tell a friend about the website. So basically user is allowed to put in their address and their friend(s) address, and their friends are mailed a canned text paragraph telling them how wonderful and awesome our site is and why they should visit.
Anyone done this? does it work with FormBuilder?

for something as simple as this (unless you're trying to harvest email addresses) formbuilder will work just fine..
but isn't really needed. See my posts in the tips & tricks forum about how to build a form and send an email just using smarty.
